To start, think of everything you want for your bags, from overall measurements to special design details. If you have no idea what are the necessary details, our online course 2, Designing Your Handbag: From Ideas to Sketch, is the perfect place for you to start.
In this online course, we cover the necessary measurements, bag styles, important features, and all the basics of handbag design. And don't worry about not being the world's greatest sketch artist: the course also shows you how to gather the right reference images that will help us, your designers, visualize the bag you are looking to develop.

Another super important part of designing your dream collection is making sure it is aligned with your business. But how do you know your business, demographic, and design are a good match? Our 1-hour Design Consultation covers all of that.
We start the consultation by sending you some homework questions that really make you think about the brand you are creating. From there, you will have a 1-hour call with Laura Dotolo with your design and brand ideas on hand, as we also tell you about important marketing strategies for a successfull launch.
Time to design
When you finally start developing your sample, we use what you gathered during the online course + all information you got from Laura and develop your first tech pack. It's a smooth transitions from tech pack, to sourcing, to sample making - but the Design Consultation makes it ever smoother and more accurate. The perfect consult to make sure you are investing your money in the right styles for your first handbag collection.
